HyperSonic Sound seems pretty much the inverse of the "cone of silence" ... or maybe it could be better described as a line-of-sight oneway radio where the recipients don't actually have a radio and probably don't have a clue who's talking to them. Walmart and the Naval Sea Systems Command are looking into this technology from American Technolgy Corporation.
